As people come into the church, many bring donations of canned and packaged food items for later distribution to families in the surrounding communities.  Church members who recall the Corporal Works of Mercy – feed the hungry and give drink to the thirsty – give items from their own surplus in order to share with those whose needs may be greater than their own.  Continued generosity and support for this ministry have enabled the Food Pantry to ease the strain on families and children who are experiencing shortages of food. This institution is an equal opportunity provider – http://www.fns.usda.gov/usda-nondiscrimination-statement.  Hours of operation: 2nd and 4th Fridays and Mondays following 2nd and 4th Fridays, 9-12 pm.
